At We Are One, we believe that you should have the very best riding experience imaginable. When we develop rims, we focus on two characteristics: ride feel and strength. When you put a pair of We Are One wheels on your bike, our goal is that you feel the difference a purpose-built, hand made carbon rim makes. If you do, we know we’ve hit the mark!
Having a deep understanding of carbon composites allows us to tailor our layups to produce the exact ride feel we want you to experience.
By developing, testing and manufacturing our rims under one roof we are able to hone in the ideal ride feel for each category. Our design and engineering team is laser focused on producing strong rims that feel great and won't let you down, ride after ride, after ride.
When designing the Convergence Series, we broke the mold. Crafted for the discerning Enduro rider, when you choose a rim with Convergence technology you are getting a rim that will stay true longer, need less maintenance over time and provide a smooth yet responsive ride feel. Convergence rims are available in three widths, allowing you to dial in your tire profile and fine tune your ride feel.
The sinuous profile aligns the inner wall of the rim with the spoke bracing angle, significantly reducing stress on both nipples and spokes. A linier line is created between the spoke holes and hub flange further increasing strength.
Convergence rims are stronger and more damped than anything we have created in the past. Convergence provides a measurable difference in ride feel.
With a data-backed increase in vertical compliance, Convergence rims enhance stability and control in challenging riding conditions. Rims with Convergence Technology are able to track through rough terrain with ease and absorb more trail chatter, allowing for a more forgiving ride. Convergence provides improved control at high speeds and leads to less rider fatigue.
It all started with the Agent, our first rim which was developed as a hard hitting Enduro rim. Revolution Rims are best known for their ability to transfer trail feedback directly to the rider in a precise and responsive package. The Revolution Series allows us to hand make rims with a category based approach to product development. Within the Revolution series, you will find purpose built rims for DH, Enduro, XC, Gravel and Dirt Jump.
The Revolution Series Rim Profile was chosen to reduce tensile (pulling) and compressive stress. Stiffness adds to trail speed and more control for high speed cornering and were also designed with strength and ride feel in mind.
Each Revolution rim has been engineered to have an optimal strength to weight ratio. We've found the ideal blend of strength, weight and ride feel.
Designed to transfer trail feedback to the rider, the Revolution Series is for riders who like to feel the nuances of their bike underneath them. Our in house manufacturing allows us to create consistency in our layups. When riding a Revolution rim you will experience a perfect balance of flex and stiffness leading to our intended ride feeling.
We imagine, design and machine our own aluminum molds to produce our hand-laid carbon products. Our layups are our own and we have the ability to test and develop them, improve them, change them incrementally with knowledge gained from every step of our proprietary process. By designing and developing in house, we have complete control and visibility into our entire process.
When developing a new rim, our team of in-house engineers are exceptionally hands on, every step of the way. They not only ensure that our in-house fatigue and strength testing meet the requirements of today's test standards, they also ensure that our products will meet the needs of today's riders. They are riders and take our prototype layups out onto Kamloops trails regularly. They work with our team riders, gaining real world feedback to tweak our designs for real world applications. From Lab to Trail, our goal is to produce the best feeling carbon rim for each riding category.
Our unique position as a North-American manufacturer allows us to use materials that our competitors can't gain access to overseas. These composites materials are tried and tested by the aerospace and defense industries, and come with End Use Agreements thicker than an encyclopedia.
With the Convergence, we leaned into our vendors to employ these cutting edge composite materials in key locations, leading to huge leaps in impact strength and ride feel. From carbon nanotubes that act like velcro to resin systems used in fighter jets, we held nothing back for the Convergence.
Both Convergence and Revolution wheelsets have proven themselves at the highest level. They have graced podiums in Europe, Australia, Canada, Mexico and the USA.
By putting our wheels under some of the worlds most demanding riders, we are able to develop wheels to meet the needs of anyone who wants a durable, strong and down right amazing rim. It's equally as humbling to see our wheels on UCI tracks as it is on our local trails.
We don't just test our wheels in the lab, we put our wheels through their paces in the real world.
By putting wheels under the bikes of UCI Athletes, we are able to garner a ton of real world feedback and data which informs our layup choices and rim profiles. By working with elite atheletes we know we are making products that meet the needs of today's strongest riders.
At We Are One we take great pride in every mold we machine, every rim we carefully layup and each wheel we meticulously build. Our hope is that the wheels we make will provide you with a lifetime of enhanced riding and worry free enjoyment.
We take our time, making sure each rim is perfectly crafted each and every time. We've dialled in our process and layup formulas to consistently offer you the best riding experience possible. We look forward to seeing you on the trails.

ERD ERD (Effective Rim Diameter) is the rim diameter at the point where the spokes sit. Knowing the ERD is essential for choosing spoke length for wheel building or replacing broken spokes.
